Brody
Often referred to as "the best dog in America," Jenna got Brody the summer after her first year in Veterinary School. Brody listens very well, and his favorite tricks are hand shake and touch. He is also very much a talker. If we are gone for longer than he feels we should be, he greets us at the garage door with a tongue lashing. And when we're in need of a good laugh, we'll start howling, and he'll match our pitch and howl right back.
Bella
Thinking Brody needed a playmate, we got Bella from the same breeder (they're half-siblings) in March of 2010. We found out the hard way that having two good dogs is rare. She is quite the handful. If she starts whining, she most likely wants water. She will drink out of the toilet or even jump into the shower to get it. She is also a cuddler when she wants to be, but when we want to cuddle with her, she will stand just out of reach so she can run if we get any closer. She has definitely kept us on our toes, but we're glad we got her.
